Ready for self feeding. 吃飯自己來！

Angela最近對於控制自己的手愈來愈進步了，餐具拿得比過去幾個月穩了，今天晚上Mommy第一次看到小恩恩自己手握湯匙，從碗裡將飯舀起來送到口中，雖然動作還未到十分完美，但已經有明顯進步，外婆很滿意的稱讚小寶貝「好棒！」，希望Daddy看到小恩恩的表現，也會很高興。

ABC story time 大家來聽故事

For the last two weekends Angela joined an ABC Story Time activity at nearby Chang-An municipal library. This activity is totally free for children and parents, and there is no need to sign up beforehand. The ABC Story Time is held from 10:00 to 11:30 every Saturday morning and there are voluntary teachers who will read two short, interesting stories in English for children. The teacher usually picks stories a week before, but class activities are varied depending on participants' age and experience in class.

Last Saturday morning Angela and the other two little kids, both aged 3, joined this ABC Story Time class. The teacher read Ten Seeds and Olivia Saves the Circus two story books.


In the story Olivia is a lovely pig, which performs a lot of interesting shows in a circus. The teacher read the book and used auxiliary tools, e.g. puppet and pens to explain the story to the children.

After reading the story, the teacher provided some gittlery ornaments and asked parents to help children dress up Olivia .While Angela was not quite concentrated on the story, she did enjoy the class activity very much. See, Angela imitated the other girl and boy and used glue to fix the ornments on Olivia. All three children liked the activty and each one presented his/her work after the work was done.



At the end, the teacher gave children stickers to encourage their interest and participation. Here is Angela's lovely work done, mostly helped by Mommy, at class this morning.

週末游泳趣！Swimming with cousins!

自從上周日小恩恩到三姑姑家游泳之後，每天都會想起和雅雅堂姐一同戲水的事。 剛好昨天週六，小姑姑和小姑丈要帶黃荳到三姑姑家游泳，小恩恩當然也不會錯過這次和堂姐弟同游的機會。週六下午的天氣不穩定，斷斷續續下著雨，差一點就不能下水，小恩恩等得不太耐煩一直從姑姑的家望樓下的游泳池看，好不容易雨小一點，Mommy和姑姑們決定要換裝前往池畔。

小朋友換裝後，當然要先大合照一下，雖然小恩恩和堂姐荷雅的身材都不錯，但這回卻被黃荳的男拌女裝搶盡了風采。

小恩恩一看到水，就開心得不得了，等不及Mommy將泳鏡上的標籤撕下來，就急忙要衝去玩水。 小姑姑在Angela的身上灑水，惹得小恩恩咯咯笑個不停。

原本小姑姑很擔心小黃荳不敢下水玩，不過不知是否因為身穿救生衣的緣故，小黃荳似乎也在水裡玩得很愉快，很認真得看著小姑姑教他如何用澆水玩具。

雅雅堂姐必竟是大姐姐，還是手戴浮臂，展現出很專業的游泳小選手模樣。

由於天氣陰陰，時有大雨滴落下來，因此大家玩水玩了差不多一小時後，池邊的救生員要大夥先上來避雨，等雨停了再出來游。

三姑姑看大家都很想玩水，就慷慨地將家裡的大浴池讓給小朋友「續攤」。

在浴池裡，有時小恩恩、雅雅和黃荳，會各自玩水，有時會一同觀看對方操作玩具。有伴一同泡澡、玩水，小恩恩可是玩得不亦樂乎。

當然這回到三姑姑家游泳也沒有空手而回。說再見前，三姑姑將雅雅心愛的小熊畫冊送了三本給小恩恩，讓小恩恩好高興。

搬尿布比賽 Diaper contest

Angela今天參加麗嬰房與新光三越合辦的嬰幼兒活動--搬尿布比賽。這幾天，外婆在家裡拿了幾袋幫寶適的尿布讓小恩恩練習，小恩恩表現很好，都會配合將尿布搬到指定的位置。Mommy和外婆心中對小恩恩充滿信心，相信小寶貝在活動中會玩得很愉快。

到了比賽會場報到後，小恩恩拿到了選手編號『23』，這次的比賽規則是在兩分鐘內至少搬4包尿布到指定的位置上，以數量最多的為優勝者。

不過，小恩恩的目光似乎被百貨公司的人潮與四周的擺設和布置吸引上了，堅持要下娃娃車到處逛逛。瞧！她隨手拿起店鋪的小玩偶玩個不停。

果然不出所料，比賽時刻到了，裁判哨子吹後，小恩恩就站在原地不動，絲毫沒有要比賽的興致，一直要Mommy抱她去逛逛，Mommy和外婆一直鼓勵她去搬尿布，小恩恩就是站在原地不肯，眼見隔壁的小寶寶都來回幾趟了，小恩恩還是不動。

外婆跑到尿布擺置的另一頭，手一直比劃，小恩恩終於開始動了，走到外婆那，結果還是要外婆抱抱，外婆一直比劃要小恩恩將尿布搬到Mommy站的位置，小恩恩似乎聽懂了，慢慢地開始拿起一包尿布走向Mommy，看到了Mommy又要Mommy抱抱，不願再去搬第二趟了，好不容易在Mommy的叫喊下，小恩恩又走向外婆的位置去，又是半拉半推拿起了第二包尿布，可是走到半途就停下來了，觀看其他的人，就這樣子，短短的2分鐘比賽時間到了，小恩恩只搬了一包尿布。

小恩恩這次比賽拿到了參加獎，其中有一份幫寶適尿布適用包和一包濕紙巾。

雖然這回小恩恩沒有完成比賽，但至少也搬了一包尿布，算是有成績了。

Fighting with playmate. 打架掛彩

Angela got a bruise on her face at daycare place today. She was bit seriously by her playmate because both kids had fought over a toy car according to the daycare provider at the scene. The lady explained that she saw Angela and the other boy playing toys together while she was about going to the bathroom. She was just away for a few minutes and then she heard the kids quarreling and fighting over a toy. She immediately ran out and saw they become two hysterical toddlers, biting each other and crying aloud. Mommy was so sorry to see the little sweetie get hurt like that and hopefully her bruise will disappear soon.

Singing my first nursery rhyme 妹妹背著洋娃娃

Angela has loved to listen to nursery rhymes, both in Chinese and in English, since she was 8-month old. Recently her language ability has significantly improved and she is able to repeat two or three words when Mommy sings songs to her. Sometimes she can also tap the rhyme of the song's melody and dance around to familiar songs. Recently, she has liked to hear a popular Chinese nursery rhyme named "A little girl carries a doll" when she asks to be carried African style.
This weekend Angela had a lot of fun playing with Uncle LiChin. Uncle Lichin amused Angela with her favorite song "Little girl carries a doll" while carrying her on his back.

Go swimming! 到三姑姑家游泳

小恩恩和Mommy這個星期日下午應三姑姑之邀，到三姑姑家游泳。這是小恩恩第三次到姑姑家，因為間隔時間較長，見到三姑姑時還覺得很陌生，荷雅堂姐又長高了許多，小恩恩似乎對荷雅堂姐也不太有印象了，一時之間佇立在原地一陣子，好在不多久小恩恩就熟悉了新環境，開始玩起了荷雅堂姐的玩具。

小恩恩和荷雅換上可愛的泳裝後，就出發到樓下的泳池，炎炎夏日將泳池的水晒得溫和，接近傍晚，沒太陽直射，泡在水裡非常舒服。小恩恩很愛玩水，坐在游泳圈裡，腳不停的踢水，三姑姑推著小恩恩坐的游泳圈轉來轉去，逗得小恩恩開心的咯咯大笑，玩得不亦樂乎呢！

回家前，三姑姑還贈送了小恩恩一套鮑姆與凱蘿畫冊共四本，讓小恩恩有玩又有得拿，開心不已。

Fun假在彰化! Have fun at ChangHua!

Angela visited grandparents and grand grandma this past weekend. She has grown so much and become more communicable, since her previous visit two month ago.

Now she eats more, walks faster, and talks better. She could also understand most people's conversations with her and followed their simple instructions, e.g. give grandpa a drink. Grandparents were surprised at Angela's speaking ability when she showed off saying her name, counting numbers and repeating people's words and phrases.



On Sunday morning, Angela's fourth aunt and her cousin, HuaiKwan, came to see grandparents as well. When seeing HuaiKwan, Angela expressed her friendship by bumping her forehead to this little cousin. While HuaiKwan was not familiar with how to get along with other kids currently, Angela still enjoyed playing with him and had a lot of fun.







Angela and HuaiKwan bathed together after walking with Grandpa and they drawed together with cousin,Yun-chin after lunch .
