This blog is for Lewis and Harriet's beloved child, Angela. It has collected notes and pictures on Angela's growth and development as well as events and activities taken place between 11.25.2008 and 12.31.2011.
This evening Angela helped Mommy make cookies for dessert at home. Little Angela has learned to chant and sing "Pat-a-cake, pat-a-cake, baker's man", but she hasn't played with dough and make cakes or cookies so far. Thanks to this two-week vacation, Angela finally got chance to bake cookies with Mommy and Daddy. Recently she heard "The gingerbread man" story and loves it so much. Anglea looked so excited when seeing Mommy shape a gingerbread man with dough.
Christmas is coming. This year Angela not only helped Mommy decorate little Christmas tree but also brought home her hand-made art work from preschool activities. The preschool teacher gave kids a little Christmas tree made of Styrofoams and asked them to put ornaments on it. With teacher's help, Angela completed a snowman with DIY materials. Moreover, Angela used round sticker and glittery string to decorate a Christmas wreath. Angela was quite satisfied with her art work. Since Angela is unable to participate the Christmas party held by the preschool, her teacher also gave two gingerbread cookies yesterday.
Recently, she has learned some Christmas song, and she was especially fascinated with Santa Claus is Coming to Town, We Wish You a Merry Christmas and Jingle Bell.
Anyhow, with Angela's contribution, this holiday season certainly be more Christmasy and more joyful.
Angela dined with Mommy's colleagues at Eatogether, a buffet restaurant, in Q-square. Angela was not afraid at all when seeing a lot of strangers. She is open and conversed with Mommy's colleague who talked to her and gave them five. She had fun to play with Mommy's colleagues and allowed them to lift her high and carried her to see around. When Santa showed up, she was so excited and asked to touch Santa. Mommy took a picture of Angela while Santa carried her in hand.
This Saturday, Angela got a white bear-head shape coin bag as a prize for her 12th participation at ABC's story series at ChangAn municipal library.
During the class activity, Mommy drawed a picture for Angela's presentation . To teacher's surprise, little Angela is able to name each object in English when Mommy point to it in the picture.
