Taipei Flora Expo (I) 參觀花博 (上)

During past three-day holiday, Angela with Grandma and Mommy went to Taipei International Flora Expo , a very popular expo as well as recreation in last few months.

The family first entered Xinsheng park area and visited Fujian Style Garden and the Palace of Flora Tea, which was transformed from Lin An-tai Historical Residence.

Next, Angela took shuttle bus to Dajia Riverside Park Area where the Happy Rainbow Caterpillar parade every day. Angela enjoyed seeing parade very much and kept waving her hands to those characters.

The weather was very beautful with nice breeze, so Mommy took some pictures for Angela at the bank of the river.

After lunch Mommy and Angela had a short boat ride along the Keelong river at Dajia Riverside.

On the boat, Angela was excited to glimpse some waterfowl resting at the bank. She learned the YuanShan Hotel and some other buildings,too.

While Angela was taking a nap, Mommy and Grandma spent an hour for walk in Fine Arts Park Arean in the afternoon. Mommy then strolled Angela to line up in front of Expo Hall and waited for an hour to see Diabolo Dance Theatre + Jimmy performance titled A Flower Blooms in Secret.

During show time, Angela was very concentrated and stared at performers playing diabolos. She laughed and clapped her little hands when performers danced along with the music. Mommy and Grandma also enjoyed the show very much.

In the evening, the family visited Pavilion of New Fashion and an orchid show at the Expo Dome at YuanShen Park Area.

腸胃感冒了 Gastroenteritis(Stomach flu)

While Angela has been keeping healthy and rarely got serious sickness, she had stomach flu with symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea at school on Wednesday. Preschool teachers told Mommy that Angela showed tiredness in the morning and vomited after lunch. They advised that Mommy carefully watch Angela's health condition at home.

In the evening, Mommy saw Angela was upset about her sickness and kept asking Mommy to carry her. Angela also got slight fever after diarrhea and did not sleep well during the night.

On Thursday morning, Mommy took Angela to see a doctor at Taipei City Hospital -Branch for Women and Children and got some prescription. However, Angela still had diarrhea after taking the medicine, so Mommy went to see Chinese herbal doctor, seeking medical advice in the evening. Because of diarrhea, Angela lost 1 k.g. within two days. Daddy was so concerned about Angela's flu and inquired her condition by phone every day.

Angela took two days off school and rested at home. Thanks to grandma's care and Chinese herbal medicine, Angela gradually recovered from the flu on Friday and resumed regular diet on Sunday. Now, Mommy and Grandma are all glad to see active Angela again and hope that little Angela will gain more weight soon.

小恩恩今天突發奇想，在洗澡時要穿泳衣游泳。

苗栗掃墓 Tomb Sweeping Day

正月十五後的第一個週日是客家人掃墓的日子，今年小恩恩和爺爺奶奶與二姑姑到苗栗參加客家人的掃墓活動。


小恩恩第一次看到傳統的掃墓習俗與祭祖的牲禮，相當好奇，Mommy和姑姑輪流抱著小恩恩認識不同祭品的名稱，以及墓地周圍的環境與石雕。其間，奶奶也抱著小恩恩認識苗栗的客家長輩，小恩恩很配合，只要奶奶要她打招呼，不論是伯公，叔公，嬸婆，堂曾祖父...小恩恩都跟著奶奶奶照唸，讓奶奶很不停地稱讚小恩恩的嘴很甜很會說話。
客家人掃墓活動的尾聲是放鞭炮，小恩恩看到沖天炮，雖然巨響讓她有點害怕，但表情卻是很興奮，接著沖天炮後，掃墓的參與者將自己提供的普通鞭炮相互串在一起後引燃，『噼哩啪啦』，『噼哩啪啦』更是讓小恩恩看得目不轉睛，印象極為深刻。

從苗栗回到彰化後，小恩恩到二姑姑家看小狗，小狗看到小恩恩又叫又跳，讓小恩恩高興地跑來跑去。

逛夜市Night Market at Changhau

Since Angela has not been to night markets at Changhau, this Saturday Grandma agreed to go to the nearby night market with Mommy and Angela. On the way to the night market, Angela was so excited, especially when taking a ride on Grandma's motorcycle. After Grandma parked the motorcycle, Angela hopped down and jumped and ran into the market.

In the market, there were not only a lot of stands selling various stuffs, including food, beverage, clothing, accessory, pets and toys, but also stands provided with games and entertainment. Angela was fascinated with all kinds of games and had a wonderful time to play them.

She first had fun on pinball and pingpong.



Then she played shoot games and electric ride-on cars with Grandma.


See that Angela was so happy and laughed aloud when she shot the target cartoon characters.

After each game, Angela had a chance to pick a gift based on her score. As the picture showed, she got a toy truck, a top, a toy pinball and a toy flute.




After night market, Angela visited great grandma together with grandma and Mommy. Angela was in a happy mood when seeing great grandma. She hugged great grandma and showed her toys from the night market. During the time, Mommy took a photo of Angela and great grandma.


Before going home, Grandma took Angela and Mommy to her Saturday karaoke singing class. In the classroom, Angela held a microphone, pretending to sing with Grandma on the stage. Look at the little girl just completely showed her open and outgoing personality.

Back to school 開學了！

過完年後，學校將進入新的一學期，Angela 很高興又可以回到學校和同學一起學習與玩耍。


開學的第一天，Mommy帶著Angela去上學，一到教室門口，小恩恩就迫不急待地脫下鞋子，衝進教室，和許久未見的同學問好。


經過了上一學期的調適期，小恩恩與老師和同學的互動明顯有進步。在老師的協助下，小恩恩很聽話的將外套與書包整齊地放在自己的櫃子。



Mommy相信，小恩恩這學期應該不會再咬同學和打同學了，在學校也可以持續快樂的學習與遊戲。

Fun年假

這幾天適逢農曆新年，Angela 回彰化過節。大年初一是個好天氣，一起陪公公散步，公公因為仍在復健當中，走路還需借助輪椅的力量，因此Angela 走累了也可以順便坐在輪椅上休息，讓公公推著走。






大年初五回到外曾祖父家拜年，外曾祖父賞了Angela一個大紅包，Angela 很快地就數點了起來，十分開心。

新年快樂Happy Chinese New Year

農曆新年到了，Angela 和Mommy回彰化公公和阿嬤家過年。
Angela一到公公家，和阿嬤、公公抱抱後，就迫不及待要開始大玩起來，一會兒溜滑梯，一會兒畫畫，一下又開起玩具車、一下子又到廚房看阿嬤準備年夜菜，跑來跑去興奮得不得了。



過了一年Angela 成長了很多少，特別是上了學之後，語言能力明顯進步，有時還會唸歌謠。近來，在學校學的應景話語當然就是，『新年快樂』和『恭喜新年好』等拜年的詞。

今年過年Angela 又收到很多紅包，有阿嬤、公公、外婆、Mommy、舅舅和姑姑及姑丈。雖然Angela還不會算錢，不過今年她經知道紅包裡是放錢的，可以go shopping and pay for food。
新年新希望，主佑Angela平安喜樂，健康進步。
