Angela's Advance Birthday Celebration at Montessori！生日到了

Angela is turning 3 years old this coming Thanksgiving holiday! Mommy and Daddy prepared for cupcakes and birthday favors for Angela's advance third birthday celebration at her class this Friday. The past year, Angela has grown a lot and kept rapid progress in every aspects. While moving to a new environment, little Angela has not been hestitate to get to know her classmates in the daycare school.  Angela looked at the cupcakes as Daddy brought home and couldn't wait to share them with her friends.

The celebration was quite simple and efficient. During snack time, children happily sat on their seats in the dining room and waited for their cakes. Beofre starting to enjoy their cake, all the kids sang Angela happy birthday song.

  

Angela was pleased and satified when she knew that she was allowed to pick her favorite cupcake.

Later, Angela passed her birthday favors--little notebooks for each classmate and candies and thank you notes for class instructors.

 

At the end, children lined up and returned to classroom for next class session.

Meanwhile, Angela got her goody bag from school.

Halloween Day at Daycare-Treat or TrIck 萬聖節

今天是萬聖節，Mommy自願當義工到Angela的班上示範南瓜雕刻，也讓Mommy有機會可以看到Angela上課的情況。這一天，學校准許小朋友不用穿著制服上學，小朋友可以自由裝扮自己喜歡的造型，穿上各式各樣的衣服到學校。
Angela的造型是小瓢蟲，與班上其他小朋友選擇Disney卡通人物或是電影主角的扮相，格外不同。 學校在萬聖節的上午，安排同學在校區內遊行。每個同學手裡拿著勞作課所作的紙袋，準備遊行沿途要糖果。
小朋友排好隊後，就跟著老師出發。Angela個頭最小排第一個。
不過，遊行中小朋友看到發糖果的地方就圍成一團，也顧不得先後了。













瞧！Angela雖對吃糖果興趣也不大，不過看到同學們都爭先朝向發糖果的義工家長，年紀個頭就算小，她也照樣像其他同學一樣的奮勇向前去拿糖果，讓Mommy看了覺得很有趣。不知道Angela以後長大了還會不會記得在daycare的萬聖節活動。






這一大袋裝的正是Angela今天在學校萬聖節活動的成果，各式各樣的巧克力與糖果。

First-week report from daycare school 托兒所的報告

Angela started her daycare center at Montessori School of Downtown last Monday. Daddy drove her to school in the morning and Mommy picked up her in the afternoon. Angela has been excited about attending the class and making friends. Mommy and Daddy are happy to see Angela's high willingness to go to daycare center and hope that little Angela will have a lot of fun to play and learn.
While the teachers were pleased with Angela's self-adjustment in the past week, there still are things we need to work on. E.g. Angela needs to improve her table manner and stop running around or standing while eating meals. She also has to control her tantrums and reduces the frequency of wetting her pants, etc. The teachers introduce class rules and hopefully, in the following weeks, Angela will get used to the class instructions, be willing to obey the rules and still keep high spirit going to class.

School Farewell Party 學校惜別會

Angela left for the US with Mommy and Daddy on Oct. 1. Before the journey, Mommy requested preschool teachers, Ms. Yen and Ms. Chen, for a farewell party for Angela.

On Angela's last day of school this month, the family brought mini cakes for the class and attended the farewell party. During the party, Ms. Yen also celebrated Angela's birthday in advance. All classmates clapped and sang happy brithday song. Thereafter, Angela made a wish and blowed out the candle.

Angela and each classmate embraced warmly and said miss you.

In the end, the kids danced and sang merrily together with the teachers.

Back to school 開學了

今天是新的一學年開學日，Angela 起了個大早，很高興又可以到學校玩耍，更期待下課後可以到操場跑跑跳跳。

開學第一天，Mommy和外婆一同陪Angela去上學， 看到Angela背起新書包，還真是有長大的樣子，個頭不大，但比上一學期看起來更懂事了。

到了學校，同學紛紛向Angela 打招呼，不過Angela似乎不太習慣同學的熱情，過了一會兒，才參與同學溜滑梯的玩耍活動。
Mommy 希望Angela 可以繼續保持愛上學的態度，在學校老師的指導下有更多的進步。

End -of-the-school-year ceremony 學期結束了

Angela has been attending preschool for two semesters. At the end of the school year, the teachers held a ceremony and set up some activities for the class and parents were also invited at the event.
The school principal joined the ceremony and gave opening speech to the participants. Next was certificate and present giving for the old toddlers who would go to kindergarden program in the following semester.

Apart from that, the teachers prepared special prizes for the rest young toddlers.
Angela was awarded courage prize for been volunteer on class activities.

Angela took microphone for self introdution.

The kids dressed up for a series of dances and singing.

While Angela is the youngest in class, she keeps catching up with their peers and enjoys her learning at preschool.

Happy Mother's Day 母親節

今天Angela學校舉辦的母親節慶祝活動，Mommy 和外婆偕同參加。這是Angela、Mommy和外婆第一次在學校慶祝母親節。
老師先讓小朋友和媽媽玩，「抱抱」遊戲，讓大家暖身一下。

接下來小朋友一起唱一首「我愛媽咪」向參加的媽媽阿媽說「母親節快樂！」。小恩恩的韻動還不是很靈活，但是會跟著哥哥姐姐的肢體動作，模樣很有趣。

結束唱遊，老師讓小朋友休息一下，請參加的家長分享小朋友的趣事並說祝福期許的話。Mommy分享小恩恩咬同學的動作是不好的，希望小朋友動口多吃營養的食物、多歡笑並多歌唱。外婆也祝班上的小朋友多吃健康長大，將來成為能幹有用的人。

分享祝福的話之後，老師將小朋友分組進行插花的活動，讓小朋友認識康乃馨、桔梗、山櫻花及顏色，並發給小朋友一個小花籃，籃中有插花用的海棉。

Angela看到自己成功的插了第一朶康乃馨，高興得拿給Mommy看， 外婆也很高興一邊為小恩恩加油。

每個小朋友都很認真的在插花，這一排成品都是小朋友的傑作，準備下課後帶回家送給媽媽。
歷時2小時的母親節慶祝活動在插花結束時接近尾聲。最後老師幫家長和小朋友一起攝影留念。

看得出來，這時候小恩恩開始不耐煩又要照團體照的模樣，表情不是很愉快。

回家後，Angela很高興的將成品放在桌上讓大家一起欣賞。

Mommy希望小恩恩不僅像外婆說的能多吃，長高長大長健康聰明，將來成為能幹有用的人，也希望小恩恩有一個幸福美滿的人生。

School Sports Day Activities 運動會

Yesterday was Aangela's first sports day at preschool. The school teachers set up a series of activities that all of the children could participate in and that emphasized family interaction.
Angela and her classmates wearing head wreath marched around the playground at the sports day opening ceremony.
Grandma held Angela's hand and walked with her. Angela was excited and smiled while she was walking.

Angela sat next to her classmates and took a short break before next activity.

Grandma drawed Angela who was sitting on paperboard.

Little Angela sang and moved with her classmates happily. Though Angela seemed a bit ackward compared to the other older sisters and brothers, Mommy was proud of her rapid progress in motor skills.

Back to school 開學了！

過完年後，學校將進入新的一學期，Angela 很高興又可以回到學校和同學一起學習與玩耍。


開學的第一天，Mommy帶著Angela去上學，一到教室門口，小恩恩就迫不急待地脫下鞋子，衝進教室，和許久未見的同學問好。


經過了上一學期的調適期，小恩恩與老師和同學的互動明顯有進步。在老師的協助下，小恩恩很聽話的將外套與書包整齊地放在自己的櫃子。



Mommy相信，小恩恩這學期應該不會再咬同學和打同學了，在學校也可以持續快樂的學習與遊戲。

校外教學 Preschool excursion

Angela 今天參加班上的校外教學，地點是位於淡台北捷運淡水線水復興岡站的台北捷運逃生體驗營。活動內容包括：認識捷運、學習防災知識、模擬逃生體驗，最後的結束活動是在捷運的北投會館的兒童遊樂場玩耍。


Mommy和Anglea早上8:30到校，老師點完名，小朋友就開始整隊，兩個兩個手牽手準備出發。小朋友步行到中山捷運站 ，搭程淡水線到復興岡站下車。





這是Angela第一次和同學校外郊學，一出校門在路上就很興奮，一直想要脫隊落跑，上了捷運Mommy要Angela像姐姐一樣坐好照像，Angela卻很不自在，面有難色。


到站下車，同學們跟著老師上天橋前往目的地，Angela在天橋上很認真得看著經過的捷運。到了學習營模擬逃生體驗時，Angela 在老師的協助下，學習如何用手轉動開關，讓捷運的門可以在沒有電的情形下打開，以及有火災的時候，如何使用滅火器、打開逃生門窗及墜道中的躱避常識。 小恩恩雖然不見得每個都聽得懂，但是跟著大家一起學習體驗，也玩得不奕樂呼。




離開前，老師發給每個小朋友一個捷運車箱的小模型，小恩恩高興得愛不釋手，還一直唸著MRT。
