18-month check up 一歲半的檢查

時間過得好快，小恩恩已經1歲半了，Mommy帶小恩恩到醫院作體檢，並打日本腦炎疫苗。醫生阿姨為小恩恩檢查時，小恩恩很聽話，要她嘴張開，她就開，要她舉手，她就舉手，相當合作，醫生阿姨很滿意，還給了小恩恩一個海綿寶寶的貼紙，獎勵她。
這次小恩恩的體檢結果仍然是居後段班，15%-50%，Mommy告訴醫生阿姨小恩恩經常食慾不佳，有時只喝奶，吃飯時也不太愛咀嚼，醫生說如果這種情形很嚴重的話，可以改喝亞培小安素，讓喝下去的奶可以供多一點熱量。Mommy 希望小恩恩不僅活潑好動，也要多吃多喝長得頭好壯壯才好。
小恩恩開始學說話，這次檢查完後，還不忘了和醫生阿姨說bye bye，很有禮貌。

Six-month checkup 第四次體檢

Daddy and Mommy took Angela to hospital for her 6-month old check up and vaccinations this evening. At the hospital, the nurse first measured Angela's weight (6.5kg/14.3 lbs), height(66cm/25inches) and head circumference(42cm/16.5inches) and examined her physical condition and development including rollover, situp, sound sensitivity, crawling, etc. The paediatrician told Mommy and Daddy that Angela grows normally and healthily but her size is a bit small. The doctor suggested that Mommy give Angela more solid food. Later, the nurse gave Angela vaccinations, but unlike previous time, Angela showed afraid to the nurse and cried aloud when receiving shots.

In the late evening, Angela had started fever and showed tired, but after a long sleep she recovered soon the next day.

卡介苗注射

今天Mommy 和外婆帶小恩恩到中興醫院打卡介苗。
一到醫院的小兒科，護士就先給小恩恩量身高、體重及頭圍，小恩恩的身高約67公分，體重6.2公斤，和上回的體檢結果差不多。在沒來醫院前，Mommy 有點擔心小恩恩這幾天喉嚨沙啞是不是有感冒的前兆，可能無法施打卡介苗，還好護士小姐量體溫的結果，並沒有顯示發燒，醫生檢查喉嚨也沒有發炎的情形，因此，Mommy才比較放心讓小恩恩打針。

打針時，Angela身體只短暫的扭動幾下，哭了一、兩聲就止住了，讓Mommy很佩服小寶貝的勇敢。 打完針後，外婆推著嬰兒車讓小恩恩逛逛，安撫小恩恩的情緒，途中小恩恩就睡著了，似乎已經忘了打針的事了。

Four-month follow-up checkup 第三次體檢

小恩恩滿4個月了，今天到衞生所體檢，順便注射疫苗。這是Angela 回國後，第一次體檢，體檢前還得先領取台北市民健康卡、台北市兒童醫療補助證及兒童健康手冊。 由於這兩個月小恩恩的食量並沒有明顯增加，加上經常拒絕吸奶瓶，使得這次體檢的身高與體重並沒有太大的變動，大約在60公分與6公斤左右，整體發育落在生長曲線的25-50百分位。醫生建議Mommy可以開始為Angela添加副食品，好讓Angela得到足夠的營養，以改善小恩恩拒吸奶瓶的問題。

Angela is about 17-month old and it's time for four-month follow-up checkup. It was the first time she did her checkup in Taiwan, and she also got a City Wellness Card, a Child Medical Subsidization Card, and a Child Health Care Booklet from local government clinic. The checkup process in the clinic was like in the States, the nurse first measured Angela's height, weight and head circumference and ploted her growth chart. Angela's overall growth (23.62 inches , 13.22 lbs) fell to the 25th percentile. Mommy thought it was because Angela has been refusing bottle-feeding recently. Therefore, the doctor advised Mommy to introduce soild food for Angela and hopefully Angela could get enough nutrition and grow well from now on.

Two-month follow-up checkup 第二次體檢

Angela is getting stronger as she continues to grow. In her two month follow-up checkup, Angela is about 23 inches height and 11 lbs, in the 50th percentile in growth chart, up from the previous 25th percentile. During the checkup, Angela also had vaccines. She was brave and did not cry much when the nurse gave her two shots. Thereafter, the doctor came to exam Angela's condition; he told Mommy and Daddy that Angela is healthy and growing well. This made Daddy and Mommy much relieved with the way for caring little Angela.

I am growing- one-month followup checkup 滿月後的第一次體檢

Angela 滿月後，Daddy和Mommy帶著Angela去作體檢，Daddy和Mommy很高興知道Angela的成長比初生時進步，體重明顯增加了1.43公斤，身長與頭圍也增加了，醫生鼓勵Mommy要持續哺乳，好讓Angela有足夠的營養，健康成長。

Angela's one-month follow up check-up was scheduled on Jan 6 at 8:45. It was cold with beautiful sunshine on that day. Daddy drove Mommy and Angela to the hospital in the morning . At the hospital, a nurse first measured Angela's weight, height and head circumference. Later, the pediatrician Dr. Wei came and gave Angela a detailed physical examination. He was pleased with that Angela's overall growth was in the 25th percentile, up from the 10th percentile a month ago. Mommy and Daddy were so happy to hear that Angela is growing normally. At last, Dr. Wei encouraged Mommy to continue breastfeeding and feel free to give him a call whenever there is a question about caring for Angela.
